CHASING THE MOON combines the exuberant and romantic sounds of European & Latin Jazz, a unique style that embraces folk elements and a dash of the blues. Led by Kathy Bluff on violin and vocals, and Paul Burjan on saxophones and flute, the band explores a rich, orchestral palette, combining soulful vocals with swinging violin and saxophone. Garry Steel’s accordion weaves across the other instruments bringing that essential Parisian charm.
Respected Sydney jazz guitarist, John Blenkhorn, Merv Sequiera on double bass and Mike Quigley on drums, lays down the best of grooves.

GETTING THERE | The Polish Club Ashfield is located 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is only available from Liverpool Road.
TRAIN | We are conveniently only a 5 minute walk from Ashfield Train Station. Take the Brown Street Exit from the train station, and continue up Browns Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and continue left. The destination will be on your right.
PARKING | We are delighted to welcome our guests to park their vehicles in our underground carpark. The entrance is located via 73 Norton Street. You can easily enter the club from the carpark using the lift. Alternatively, there is always plenty of street parking in the surrounding area with access to the club via the front entrance on 182 Liverpool Road.
CHECK-IN | Ensure to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event to be able to check-in at reception. Members can easily scan their members card, and guests can either scan their drivers license or become an associate member. Allow 5 minutes to become a member. Member’s receive 10% discount on selected items.
DINNER AT STO LAT | Pair this event with a dinner (5:00pm – 9:00pm) reservation at Sto Lat Restaurant. Bookings highly recommended to avoid wait time on the day.
