ABOUT ANTHONY SHARWOOD | Anthony Sharwood is a Walkley Award-winning journalist and the author of three recent books themed around the Australian high country. After writing From Snow to Ash and the Brumby Wars, he asked himself “I’ve been writing about the Kosciuszko area but who was this Kosciuszko person?” As soon as he started researching Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Anthony fell in love with the man. After travelling to America, Poland, Switzerland and Kosciuszko National Park for research, Anthony has written the first Australian biography of the Polish hero whose name sits on our highest peak, 184 years after the mountain was named after him.
