Bar Shout

Friday 31 January 2025, 5:00 – 7:00pm

Join us in the Members Bar on Friday 31 January with the team from White Bay Brewery as they launch their newest beer – White Bay “Wojtek” Polish Pilsner 5% – at the Polish Club Ashfield.

The team from White Bay Brewery will be offering free beer* between the hours of 5:00pm – 7:00pm. White Bay Brewery regularly collaborates with draught customers to run ‘Bar Shouts’ at no cost to the customer. They will be discussing the brewery, the beer and answering any questions along the way.

We are also offering every Wojtek a FREE beer on Sunday 23 February during the screening of “A Bear Named Wojtek”.

ABOUT THE BEER | What better symbol than Wotjek (Voytek), the bear who went to war with the Polish Army, to represent this quintessential Polish Pilsner brimming with central European biscuity malt paired with a stiff bitterness provided by Polish-grown Magnum hops. Crisp, complex, full-bodied and produced low and slow. Za Nas Wotjek!

ABOUT WHITE BAY BREWERY | Situated on the shores of Sydney Harbour on the Balmain Peninsula, White Bay Brewery was started by a couple of mates in late 2019 with one goal in mind – create great beer that could be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere. Perched inside a 150-year-old steel mill a stone’s throw from decommissioned power stations and silent dockyards, our brewery and backyard are not just reminders of but proudly protected monuments to the area’s working-class history. After hundreds of beer releases, events and more than a few pandemic closures, we keep our feet rooted in a simple truth – beer has always been the drink of the common man; a simple pleasure amidst the complexity of life. White Bay – At Home Anywhere
