An emotion filled show that celebrates the contributions post-war migrants made to Australia.
Includes a post show speech and Q&A with director Simon Reich.

About Simon Reich: Simon Reich is the son of a migrant who came to Australia after World War 2, so he has a real heart for the migrant origin story of all nationalities. Simon has amassed over 50 interviews with European immigrants and has created podcasts, films and this live show from his story collection. His work has won awards all over the world and the most recent accolade was taking out the “People’s Choice” award at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival last year. That film used the footage you will see in the show “Bonegilla-The migrants’ journey”.
LOCATION | 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield (pedestrian access available from Liverpool Road only)
TRAIN | Only a 5-minute walk from Ashfield Train Station.
Take the Brown Street exit from the station and continue up Brown Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and turn left, then follow the short path to our doors.
FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING | Entrance via 73 Norton Street.
The Club is accessible via the lift. On days when the car park is full, there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, with access to the Club through the front entrance at 182 Liverpool Road.
