ABOUT THE TRIO
Cameron Jones Trio are an acoustic guitar trio performing on French-designed steel-string guitars. They draw inspiration from the Dutch, Belgian and French masters of this tradition, bringing together a shared love of gypsy jazz and its rich lineage. Their music blends French, Sinti, American jazz, and Italian melodies, shaped by years of listening, performing, and learning this style.
While deeply rooted in tradition, their approach also reflects their experience as Australian musicians, offering a unique fusion of gypsy jazz with the sensibilities and rhythms of their cultural background. This combination brings a fresh voice to the repertoire, setting them apart by weaving their own stories and perspectives into the music.
Through tight interplay and a driving rhythmic foundation, they strive to capture the spontaneity and vitality at this music’s core. Whether on stage or in intimate settings, their focus remains on connection with each other, the audience, and the tradition that continues to inspire them.
GETTING THERE | The Polish Club Ashfield is located 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is only available from Liverpool Road.
TRAIN | We are conveniently only a 5 minute walk from Ashfield Train Station. Take the Brown Street Exit from the train station, and continue up Browns Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and continue left. The destination will be on your right.
PARKING | We are delighted to welcome our guests to park their vehicles in our underground carpark. The entrance is located via 73 Norton Street. You can easily enter the club from the carpark using the lift. Alternatively, there is always plenty of street parking in the surrounding area with access to the club via the front entrance on 182 Liverpool Road.
CHECK-IN | Ensure to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event to be able to check-in at reception. Members can easily scan their members card, and guests can either scan their drivers license or become an associate member. Allow 5 minutes to become a member. Member’s receive 10% discount on selected items.
DINNER AT STO LAT | Pair this event with a dinner (5:00pm – 9:00pm) reservation at Sto Lat Restaurant. Bookings highly recommended to avoid wait time on the day.
