These evenings will feature the very best of local, Australian and international talent for your listening and entertainment pleasure.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
ABOUT ANDREW DICKESON | Drummer Andrew Dickeson is Australia’s premier Jazz drummer, a renowned bandleader and an esteemed music educator. For over 40 years he has been working with the biggest names in Australian music – James Morrison, Renee Geyer, Monica Trapaga, Don Burrows, Justine Clarke, Simon Tedeschi and many more. He is regular fixture in jazz clubs and festivals here and worldwide – Manly Jazz Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Ascona Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He is the first call drummer for visiting International artists such as Veronica Swift, Led Delaria, Annie Ross, Mark Murphy and many more. He is known for his tasteful, energetic and swinging style.
ABOUT DAVID SEIDEL | With more than 50 years of professional music experience to date, bassist David qualifies by now as one of Australia’s elite veteran musicians.
He has taught music at Secondary and Tertiary level and played on recording sessions, concerts, festivals, tours and shows in Australia and all over the world. He has worked in many roles with famous artists at times and also produced many CDs for example Janet Seidel, Bob Barnard, Tom Baker, Col Nolan, Monica Trapaga, Geoff Bull and so on, with releases in Australia and abroad,(particularly Japan).
Currently playing regularly around Sydney for some of Australia’s finest singers and musicians, David still enjoys his role as a supportive musician as much as ever.
ABOUT PETER LOCKE | Peter Locke is one of Australia’s most highly respected jazz pianists, accompanists and musical directors. A protege of piano master the late Chuck Yates, few musicians move so seamlessly from interpretations of the works of Bix Beiderbecke and Duke Ellington to Be-Bop and beyond.
Based out of Sydney, Peter is in high demand in many musical settings and, in addition to his own Peter Locke Trio, he performs regularly with Andrew Dickeson’s Blue Rhythm Band, Dan Barnett’s Big Band and Nicki Parrott’s Trio. Peter was resident pianist in the late Bob Barnard’s Quartet for the last ten years before Bob’s retirement from the stage and is often pianist of choice with Bill Burton, Al Davey, Adrian Cunningham, Bob Henderson and Geoff Power.
Peter accompanies many of Australia’s top vocalists including Gregg Arthur, Monica Trapaga, Di Bird, George Washingmachine, Marilyn Mendez and the late, great Marie Wilson. He also receives warm praise for his tasteful trumpet and flugelhorn solos. Peter has appeared by request at many Australian jazz festivals and has toured internationally in the USA, Brazil, Cuba, Europe and New Zealand.
