Tango Synergy presents: – An Argentine Tango Social Dancing Night –
Featuring four hours of dancing with carefully curated tandas by DJ Luke, complemented by a variety of Latin dance cortinas — typically kept short, but extended when the floor is alive and dancers wish to continue enjoying the music. Doors open at 8:00 pm, with dancing continuing late into the evening.
Entry: $15 ($10 members)
This event is hosted by Tango Synergy, a not-for-profit association of tango dancers in Sydney.

Tango Synergy is a members’ association for tango dancers, based in Sydney, NSW.
The Association hosts tango events including milongas, practicas and workshops with a focus on building a stronger tango community in Sydney.
Tango Synergy was founded by a group of motivated dancers who wanted to provide free or affordable milonga venues in Sydney. Achieving this required insurance, and the best way to get insured was to become incorporated.
So, 14th February 2007, Valentine’s Day, Tango Synergy Incorporated came into being as a non-profit association. The aim is to provide a friendly, inviting environment and to grow, expand and promote Argentine Tango.
The choice of name comes from the basis that “Synergy” means:
- Joint working, co-operation
- Combined or correlated action of a group
The association now has links to other areas in Australia and Worldwide. Synergy has expanded from merely providing Wednesday night milongas in Sydney’s inner suburbs to hosting practicas and special events.
LOCATION | 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield (pedestrian access available from Liverpool Road only)
TRAIN | Only a 5-minute walk from Ashfield Train Station.
Take the Brown Street exit from the station and continue up Brown Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and turn left, then follow the short path to our doors.
FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING | Entrance via 73 Norton Street.
The Club is accessible via the lift. On days when the car park is full, there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, with access to the Club through the front entrance at 182 Liverpool Road.
CLUB CHECK-IN REQUIRED | Beat the rush—give yourself time to check in at reception. Members enjoy fast-track check-in by simply scanning their Member Card. Guests can check in by scanning their driver’s licence or by becoming an Associate Member. Member’s receive 10% discount on selected items & other Member privileges. Ask one of our friendly staff about Membership, and allow a few extra minutes to sign up.
FREE WIFI | The Polish Club Ashfield offers all guests free WiFi. Ask the reception staff upon arrival for the access password.
