Let Sto Lat Restaurant look after you this Wigilia (Christmas Eve). Taking inspiration from the 12 traditional Wigilia dishes & combining it with contemporary European & Australian produce, it will be a meal to savour.

SET MENU

ENTREE (choice of one)

  • Beetroot broth with mushroom dumpling
  • Pickled Polish herrings with dill cream, confit tomatoes and dark rye
  • Mini potato pancake with sour cream, Tasmanian smoked salmon and fish roe
  • Wild mushroom Polish soup with cream and egg noodles

 

MAINS (choice of one) 

  • Hand crumbed sea perch fillets, fried to golden, polish style potato & cabbage oven bake, dutch carrots, homemade tartare sauce
  • Pierogi – cheese & potato or mushroom & cabbage served with onions, sour cream and side salad
  • Crispy skin Huon salmon with potato pave, broccolini, blistered cherry tomatoes and dill beurre blanc sauce
  • Truffle Potato Dumplings sautéed with foraged wild mushroom, baby spinach, garlic cream and fresh truffles 

 

DESSERTS (choice of one)

  • Cranberry & poppyseed trifle, light butter sponge cake, rich poppyseed cream, cranberry compote, seasonal fruits

  • Chocolate honey polish cake, candid orange, Cinnamon ice cream, drizzle of honey caramel 

  • Cherry pierogi, hand made cherry filled dumplings, vanilla cream, warm cherry reduction, mint, powdered sugar

 

CHILDREN’S MENU (choice of one for children under 12 years old)

  • Chicken schnitzel with chips & salad
  • Fish & chips with salad
  • Cheeseburger with chips & salad
  • Frankfurt with mash & vegetables

GETTING THERE | The Polish Club Ashfield is located 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is only available from Liverpool Road. 
 
TRAIN | We are conveniently only a 5 minute walk from Ashfield Train Station. Take the Brown Street Exit from the train station, and continue up Browns Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and continue left. The destination will be on your right. 
 
PARKING | We are delighted to welcome our guests to park their vehicles in our underground carpark. The entrance is located via 73 Norton Street. You can easily enter the club from the carpark using the lift. Alternatively, there is always plenty of street parking in the surrounding area with access to the club via the front entrance on 182 Liverpool Road.
 
CHECK-IN | Ensure to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event to be able to check-in at reception. Members can easily scan their members card, and guests can either scan their drivers license or become an associate member for $2. Allow 5 minutes to become a member.
