Role: Marketing Executive

Overview
The Polish Club Ashfield (PCA) seeks a talented and dynamic Marketing Executive to lead the marketing efforts across our various channels, including social media and website management, as well as devising strategies to increase customer flow and promote events.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and act as a key liaison between PCA and external entities that use the venue, ensuring seamless communication and promotion. The role requires flexibility to work around events, including weekends, and a proactive approach to capturing real-time content and driving engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management:
Develop and implement content strategies for PCA’s social media platforms. Manage routine posts, monitor audience engagement, and track the performance of campaigns. - Website Management:
Oversee updates to the PCA website, ensuring it remains up-to-date, engaging, and informative. Manage content flow and implement strategies to drive traffic and optimise user experience. - Marketing Strategy:
Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and participation and use of PCA’s events and function spaces. Measure and adjust strategies based on campaign performance and customer feedback. - Event Promotion:
Lead marketing campaigns for PCA functions, events, and performances. Create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and email newsletters to drive attendance and maximise engagement. - External Liaison:
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for external entities who use the PCA. Work closely with clients, partners, and collaborators to help promote their events or activities at PCA, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. - Brand Management:
Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing channels and promotional materials. Uphold PCA’s brand identity and reputation in all communications. - Reporting and Analytics:
Analyse and report on the performance of marketing initiatives using web and social media analytics tools. Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager on overall campaign effectiveness. - Market Research:
Conduct research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities. Use insights to continually optimise marketing efforts and identify new opportunities. - Content Development / Design:
Develop and design content for print and online platforms.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within an agency or in-house setting. Proven experience in managing social media platforms and website content is essential. - Skills:
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Meta Business, Facebook, Instagram) and web analytics tools.
- Experience with content creation, digital campaigns, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data and adapt strategies based on performance insights.
- Proficient in the use of digital marketing tools.
- Education:
A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is essential. - Personal Attributes:

- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. This role will require weekend work, especially for events, where real-time content creation and live posting will be necessary.
