Di Bird’s Trio – Red Hot and Blue has been performing regularly in Sydney for over 15 years. Specialising in Jazz and great contemporary music including the hits of Carole King and Burt Bacharach their repertoire is broad and sure to appeal to any audience. The band has been featured at every major jazz festival in Australia and New Zealand. The trio comprises Di Bird (Vocalist) Michael Bartolomei (Piano) and Craig Scott (Double Bass). Together they form a swinging collective of decades of experience.
Leading Australian vocalist Di Bird is joined in her trio by Michael Bartolomei on piano and Craig Scott on Double Bass. This long standing musical collaboration will perform a diverse range of music from the great jazz standards to the music of Carole King including songs from the iconic Tapestry album, and the hits of the legendary composer Burt Bacharach which he penned for Dionne Warwick – songs such as The Look of Love, Walk On By, Do You Know The Way To San Jose, A House Is Not A Home and many others.
