Unleash your inner dancer and join us for an exhilarating West Coast Swing beginner crash course this September! Perfect for those who’ve never danced a step or just want to refine their moves, this workshop is your ticket to the exciting world of West Coast Swing.
Learn from the BEST in the world, this workshop is taught by Thibault and Nicole Ramirez, the current world champions. They are also the top trending WCS artists on TikTok and Instagram!
Doors open at 6.30pm.
Aim to make sure you are checked in by 6:45pm so you can ask any questions, meet the team, and be ready for a 7:00pm start. The workshop runs until 9:00pm followed by a chance to practice your new dance moves during the first social dance party of the weekend that runs from 9:00pm until midnight.
COURSE PARTICIPATION – TERMS & CONDITIONS
I understand West Coast Swing is a physical activity undertaken by choice at my own risk. I hereby release Best of the Best WCS, any Best of the Best WCS staff (paid or unpaid), and/or any independent contractor engaged (paid or unpaid) by Best of the Best WCS, from any claim, demand, action, suit, cause of action, and/or liability in relation to any damage, injury, or loss suffered — whether or not arising as a result of the negligence of, or breach of duty by, Best of the Best WCS, its staff, or contractors.
I understand that no alcohol may be brought into the ballroom other than that purchased at the venue. Doing so may put future events at risk, and if caught, I may be asked to leave without a refund.

Conditions for Half-Price Full Pass Eligibility:
Beginner Status: The half-price full pass is available exclusively to individuals who have no prior experience in West Coast Swing dancing.
Exclusion of Experienced Dancers: Current and previous West Coast Swing dancers, regardless of their level of expertise, are not eligible for the half-price full pass.
Verification of Experience: Participants may be asked to provide information about their dance experience during the registration process. This information will be used to verify eligibility for the half-priced full pass.
New Participants Only: The offer is intended for individuals who are new to the West Coast Swing community and have previously not attended West Coast Swing workshops, classes, or events.
Honesty Policy: We trust our participants to be honest about their dance experience. Any misuse of this offer by providing false information will result in the forfeiture of the discounted pass.
ABOUT BEST OF THE BEST WCS
This year’s Best of the Best — Australia’s longest-running West Coast Swing event — will be held in the Grand Salon at the Polish Club Ashfield, Sydney.
This World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) event runs over four spectacular days and nights, showcasing some of the finest West Coast Swing dancers in the world. Expect WSDC Jack & Jill competitions, professional shows, dance parties until 3 am, and much more.
Best of the Best’s mission is to provide an expansive learning platform in a safe, supportive environment, allowing dancers to grow and work towards being the best version of themselves.

GETTING TO THE POLISH CLUB ASHFIELD
LOCATION | 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is available from Liverpool Road only.
BY TRAIN | We’re just a 5-minute walk from Ashfield Station. Take the Brown Street exit, walk up to Liverpool Road, cross the street, turn left, and follow the short path to the Club entrance.
FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING | Enter via 73 Norton Street. The Club is accessible via lift. If the car park is full, there’s plenty of street parking nearby and enter via the front entrance at 182 Liverpool Road.

CLUB CHECK IN | Please allow time to check in at reception. Members, fast-track entry by scanning your Member Card. Guests, check in with your driver’s licence or join as an Associate Member. Members receive special deals and other perks. Ask our staff about signing up!
FREE WIFI | Available for all guests. Ask at reception for the password.
DINING & ENTERTAINMENT | The Polish Club has everything you need for the moments when you want to catch your breath throughout the day.
